The Saint has all the characteristics of a dive except the crowd that usually makes a place a dive. There are no old, homeless men rambling at the bar and there very few (publicly outed) ex-convicts. Instead, it's filled with hip, young New Orleanians drinking everything the bar has to offer and dancing to the jukebox and occasional live bands. There's also a photobooth and a back patio that is pretty spacious with couches and chairs. The kind of music that generally gets played here is garage rock and the occasional metal or folk band. The stone floors and low ceilings lend an aura of a dungeon but it's becoming. Notably bad is the mens bathroom but hey, what did you expect when you're hanging out at a dive?
