Buzz about Liborio's Cuban Restaurant

Ridiculously overpriced. I've had much better Cuban in Chicago for less than half the cost. SKIP THIS PLACE! The walls are painted in what I referred to as sad primer green with horrible lighting.

Ordered the Ropa Vieja. It was a pile of wet rubbery meat. No sign of tomato, onion or green pepper. I'm expected to pay $17 for this? I've had ten times better for less than $8 .I'm led to believe by the great lack of Latin food in New Orleans that the locals are unfamiliar with good Cuban food. In Chicago, it's very abundant. My girlfriend is Mexican and was sadly disappointed. The server was doing a great job even though the owner was yelling and micro managing him. You'd be better off getting Taco Bell out of the trash.
