Sunday night was the perfect time to go to Brocato's. The line wasn't too long, it was still warm out, and everyone was enjoying their gelato or delicious Italian baked goods. With a menu of gelato's with Italian names I can hardly even pronounce, one should probably sample some flavors before committing. I had the Tiri mi su, which was creamy and had a crumble of bread in it to fill out the flavor. A friend had the blood orange Italian ice which was equally as good, yet very different. There are an array of options so get adventurous and try them out. Besides the great menu, the ambiance of Brocato's is spot on. The space is decorated just like it must have been 50 years ago when they were on Ursulines Street and because they have such great food, there is an energy that pervades the space that is hard to replicate. Ultimately, I highly suggest Brocato's as a perfect place to grab a treat as the weather warms up.
