TV tonight: 'Retired at 35,' 'Frontline'
Posted June 25, 2012
•Summer heat got you down? NCIS (CBS, tonight, 8 ET/PT) takes you back to its September season premiere, with a fan-favorite episode that finds Gibbs helping Tony figure out how he ended up causing the death of another agent.
If you like the series and you missed this outing, it's probably one you'll want to add to your collection.
•Here's another way to flash back to the past. Have you ever yearned to see all three Back to the Future movies back to back?
Well, HBO Family has them, starting with the first and best (7 ET/PT), and followed by its sequel (9 ET/PT) and the sequel after that (10:50 ET/PT).
Think of it as a home version of a drive-in triple feature.
There are a lot worse ways to spend a summer TV evening.
•There's also good news for fans of TV Land's Retired at 35 (10 ET/PT).
Hairspray's delightful Marissa Jaret Winokur is joining the show for its second season, taking over the role of Alan and Elaine's (George Segal and Jessica Walter) daughter Amy.
•Anyone who has seen a dentist lately might be interested in Frontline's latest investigation, Dollars and Dentists (PBS, 10 ET/PT, times may vary).
It looks at flaws in our dental care system.
