Julianne Hough looked hot at Wednesday night's Us WeeklyHot Hollywood Style event, where she was given the "Free Spirit" style award. Hough posted a video on her site this week saying she has just wrapped work on the still-untitled Diablo Cody film. ... Hough's boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest, paid tribute to mentor Dick Clark for a minute at the start of American Idol Wednesday night. ...

Kim Kardashian, who is mulling buying a house in Glendale, Calif., so that she can attempt to become mayor there, picked up the "Total Pro" award at the Us event. ... Ara Najarian, a city councilmember and former Glendale mayor, says he thinks Kim as mayor is "a great idea. I have offered her the position of honorary chief of staff to my office to help her get acquainted to Glendale." ...
